Visual Designer

Main Tasks:

• Responsible for Visual Design activities in the ARB Digital Experience Centre
• As a Visual Designer you will work closely with other members of the Experience Centre Team including Service Designers, UX Designers, Scrum Masters as well as researchers and data analysts to help design and develop new digital solutions
• In your role as a Visual designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional mobile and Web products. Your ability to bring your vision and concepts to life will not only be welcomed but celebrated
• One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design and our customers and serving the ARB’s purpose, business missions and customer needs
• As a part of ARB's Digital Experience Centre you will be at the forefront of driving the banks innovation agenda. You will work on a range of short, sharp agile projects and will regularly have to prepare, host and manage Experience Centre events with both internal and external stakeholders. The Experience Centre is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where talented individuals will thrive
• Interpreting storyboards to tell visual stories that support learning.
• Work alongside UX Design, Service Design, UI Design and Technology teams to develop and visualize key conceptual frameworks and information graphics relevant to specific projects
• Actively seek collaboration with relevant departments to deliver collaborative and aligned solutions
• Support senior team members to plan and facilitate workshops with stakeholders or creative sessions
• Create and manage projects from initiation to completion

• Proficient in software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, InvisionApp, UXPin and Sketch
• Expert in Visual Design trends
• Expert in applying Design Thinking techniques
• Understands the Banking and Financial Services Industry and current trends
• As well as Visual Design the ideal candidate will also have a comprehensive understanding of UX/UI design techniques
• A good knowledge of research methods
• Arabic and English to a high level, both speaking and reading & writing
