The role is to manage new product development, existing product enhancements and research for Islamic Finance, implement the agreed business strategy, launch new or updated products to market and take the lead on building relationships with the various stakeholders in the Islamic Finance space. Drive all new product initiatives from conceptualization till launch to deliver superior customer value and open new avenues of revenue generation for the Bank.
- The role will be responsible for Structuring sharia compliant Products and obtaining necessary approvals from the Bank Sharia Board prior embarking on the Product Development.
- Prepare and present business case based on sound financial modelling for proposed product to secure management approval.
- Obtain regulatory approval for the Islamic products. Ensure compliance of the Islamic Banking products and coordinate between the department and the Bank’s Sharia Adviser.
- Spearhead all aspects of products development from initial brain storming, Product proposal, Product launch, Marketing campaign service level and monitoring performance vs. projections. This would include but not be limited to recommend, gaining approval and implementing the necessary Product developments /enhancements in order to improve results.
- Development of new product programs in line with the SME Strategy.
- Develop financial projections for Product performance
- Responsible for the development of Islamic Banking products within the framework and regulation approved by SAMA.
- Prepare Product Policies & procedures
- Ensure readiness for Accounting Cycle and GL Set up, Legal Agreements from relevant departments in the Bank
- Define Product Marketing and campaign requirements with Marketing teams
- Product Portfolio Monitoring
- Continuously monitors the product life cycle and enhance the products as when required by introducing new features to maintain competitive edge.
- Liaise and follow up with other departments such as Sharia, Finance, IT, Operations, Compliance … etc. to get the products approved, Developed and implemented
- Conduct extensive market research to identify new product/ product enhancements and services opportunities beneficial to the business under AlRajhi that will provide a competitive edge for the bank.
- Be the final editor and knowledge resource on written research material that leaves the company for branding, sale or relationship development.
- Analyze products performance and outline enhancement opportunities.
- Monitor product profitability and growth targets.
- Develop Customer Segmentation & Customer Portfolio Analysis to support Business in decision-making.
