Job Description

  • To assist IT Strategy and Planning Management in creating and implementing business planning processes. 
  • ANALYZE MONTHLY IT BUDGETING AND ACCOUNTING REPORTS TO MAINTAIN EXPENDITURE CONTROLS.
  • EXAMINE BUDGET ESTIMATES AND COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, AND CONFORMANCE WITH PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS.
  • COMPILE AND ANALYZE ACCOUNTING RECORDS AND OTHER DATA TO DETERMINE THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT ACCOUNTING MODULE.
  • PERFORM COST-BENEFIT ANALYSES TO COMPARE OPERATING PROGRAMS, REVIEW FINANCIAL REQUESTS, OR EXPLORE ALTERNATIVE FINANCING METHODS.
  • Efficiently created and implemented annual operational budget.
  • Informed department managers of the due dates for the submission of budget information.
  • Examined capital budget requests and issued recommendations to the approval committee.
  • Compared actual to budgeted results at the end of each reporting period, and reported on significant variances.
  • Proposed enhancements to the budget model.
  • Aided establishing annual spend and obligations plans.
  • Evaluated performance of funding allocation.
  • Actual to budget/forecast variance analysis
  • And any other tasks request by management
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to improve business planning methodology
  • Determine and execute key business initiatives that will drive business operations
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives
  • Assist management in operations, resource management, budget management
  • Develop standard procedures to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive data and client information at all times

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • 2+ years progressive professional experience in Business Planning, Budgeting or Process Management
  • Demonstrate verbal and written skills, ability to develop cogent argument and present them to a range of stakeholders and executive
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel Formulas and Functions and Presentation is a must
  • Bilingual (English/Arabic) language would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised on technically complex projects
  • Understands and acts upon the principles of ownership, responsibility and accountability
  • Dedicated, Self-Motivated, Flexible
  • Timely delivery of assigned tasks with Quality

 

Education

Business Administration, Finance, Banking or related fields or equivalent relevant experience
