JOB PURPOSE:
Take a lead role in more complex plans to research, evaluate and design network and Security infrastructure systems by 
applying engineering, hardware and software theories and principles to develop a compatible system infrastructure in
line with organizational strategies. Support the delivery of the projects to be implemented as best practice in line with 
organizational strategies.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DETAILED TASKS

• Perform and lead complex Network-Security infrastructure project 
assignment.
• Ability to initiate, prioritize, plan, execute and close phases of projects as 
required.
• Analyse and recommend changes to adjust and tune network elements to 
meet capacity and performance demands. Network planning cross WAN and 
core for all DCs
• Data Center design and operation.
• DR design and operation
• Produce and/or endorse network standards, maintain networking standards 
and guidelines.
• Contribute and lead technical network design team. Analysis of network 
issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Design, review and evaluate disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement all agreed network requirements
• Lead and Perform the upgrade of the Network-Security infrastructure 
components and tools.
• Plan, design, build and support Network-Security infrastructure technologies 
and services, following operational and security best practice and standards.
• Monitor, diagnose and resolve hardware of Network-Security infrastructure.
• Plan additions, upgrades, and conversion of Network-Security infrastructure, 
operating systems and security patches.
• Provide Network/Security infrastructure architecture support, contribute on
the design, deployment and configuration.
• Lead site Network-Security infrastructure initiative and managing projects.
• Will use a wide base of knowledge and skillsets to plan, coordinate 
implement, facilitate, and perform: system buildouts and troubleshooting of 
problem and advanced maintenance measures.
• Providing a technical assistance and guidance to the team.
• Apply information and system analysis to resolve Network/Security infrastructure outages and Perform root cause analysis to assist in the 
effective remediation of complex problem.
• Provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring in area of 
responsibility.
• Ensure High availability of Network/Security infrastructure on all layers.
• Assist with planning and implementing Network/Security integrations 
following activity.
• Support the cloud and hybrid configuration and implementation.
Reporting
• Prepare monthly departmental reports to capture the progress, 
performance and quality in order to verify all the processes that has been 
implemented through the month.
• Provides management with accurate reports, regarding all aspects of 
Strategic Planning, along with conclusions and recommendations.

coaching and feedback, also to develop the skills and competencies

• Adherence to all regulations and control functions within the bank in 
order to ensure that governance, Audit, risk and compliance, fraud 
detecting and combating matters are carried out.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Minimum Experience:
7 years – 10 Years

• Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
• Produce and/or endorse network standards.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of a range of networking architectures, services, products, and best 
practice.
• Ability to analyse and solve complex network and performance issues.
• Cisco networking background and advanced knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of network Data Center Interconnect Design and Failover.
• Experience in working with Datacentre migration.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality of Service.
• High availability design experience (Internet, Extranet, WAN with multiple Service Provider).
• Experience with load balancers (F5 and others), GTM, Firewall, IPS, Voice/Collaboration, Wireless.
• Advanced knowledge of network diagramming and Microsoft Visio.
• Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems with an emphasis on 
network, security, server, and storage.
